MANAJEMEN PELAKSANAAN IBADAH HAJI PASCA COVID’19

Abstract

The government is responsible for the health, safety, and security of the pilgrims who are threatened by Covid'19, in addition, the cancellation of the departure of the pilgrims also has a very bad impact on the length of the waiting list of prospective pilgrims in Indonesia. This is the biggest disappointment for prospective pilgrims, especially the elderly pilgrims in Indonesia. This problem really must be considered by the government, especially the minister of religion, thus there is a need for health management such as health services including: inspection, care and health maintenance of hajj pilgrims which aims to improve the health conditions of the hajj pilgrims before departure, keeping the hajj pilgrims in good health during the pilgrimage until they return to their homeland, however, the government needs to minimize the number of prospective pilgrims who intend to perform the pilgrimage for the second and umpteenth time, and must prioritize prospective pilgrims who intend to perform the pilgrimage for the first time, thus, waiting list long queue can be reduced. This research uses the library method or literature study, the types and sources of data use secondary data, while the data collection is done by reviewing or exploring several journals, media, and documents (both printed and electronic). This research shows that the government's attention to the problems of the pilgrims, both regarding its cancellation or its implementation, is very important for prospective pilgrims in Indonesia, because as citizens, pilgrims are very dependent on government decisions.
